Education Programs

Three ways we teach kids, families, and communities to love and care for animals.

Our Three Programs

From in-shelter group visits to school outreach to our annual camps, we meet students where they are.

In-Shelter Education

Girl Scouts, Boys & Girls Club, bottle-feeding classes, and other group visits and classes that happen here at our shelter.

In-School Visits

  • Shelter careers and volunteering
  • Custom topics on request

Youth & Service Opportunities

Ways for kids, teens, scouts, and school groups to get involved beyond our programs.

Scout Troop Visits

Earn badges and learn about animal welfare during a guided shelter visit tailored to your troop's age group.

Supply Drives

Organize a collection drive for shelter essentials — food, blankets, cleaning supplies. We'll share a current wishlist.

Service Projects

Court-ordered community service, school volunteer hours, and group service projects are all welcome.
